Trick or Treat on the Trail

Trick or Treat on the Trail from 12 until 4 PM. All ghouls and ghosts are welcome to Brasstown Bald Recreation Area to take part in candy stations, games and a touch table.  We encourage families of all shapes and sizes to dress up in your favorite Halloween costume for a special prize.  Everything will kick off at 12 noon and go until 4 p.m. or until supplies last.  Contact Information:
Event is free but there is an admission charge to Brasstown Bald.

Halloween Drive Thru Trick or Treating from 3 until 5 PM at Towns County Rec. Department.

Offering a safe and fun drive thru event for the kids at the Towns County Rec Center since the City will not be able to host the event at their location this year.
Parents, we will have a route marked off for you to drive thru where the kids can collect candy from the passenger side of your vehicle.  Halloween Drive Thru Trick or Treating from 3 until 5 PM at Towns County Rec. Department.

2nd Annual Welcome Home Veterans Event.

American Legion Posts 532 of Hayesville, 96 of Murphy, and 192 of Robbinsville along with many other area Veterans organizations invite the community to this free event. The parade will begin in Andrews at 9:30 am ending at Western Carolina Regional Airport. Festivities at the airport will commence at 11:00 am. Enjoy a complimentary lunch, family friendly activities, military flyovers, display planes, vintage cars, motorcycles, Veteran Stand Down services, a chili cook-off and so much more. Contact info 828-837-2242.
